He is the type of player I had wanted last year. The kind of 8 points, 10 boards, 2 blocks, 3 or 4 fouls per game kind of player who just loves to get rough down low. Really like his game.

Glad he's only a freshman! I would have hated to have seen him waste a year last season. If Cobb or Carlton can hold down the 5 then MD will be a damn good PF. Next year I expect that to happen.

He already is. We have been so much better when he is on the floor the last 2 games. Huge dropoff when he's out

Diarra fits the team so much better than Onuorah that it's not even funny. If his height and bulk didn't limit his minutes against certain taller lineups id reckon he'd be starting soon.

It also puts more pressure on Larrier to start to consistently score for us too. I agree with everybody as I love Diarra's energy and jumping ability inside. He will be valuable inside for second scoring opportunities.

The scouting report on him was always "has a good motor". Give the scouts an "A" on that one.
