Diarra spotted shooting 3’s in JA’s Instagram story. I thought he was expected back in December?

Doctors - is this good news? Is he ahead of schedule/on schedule?

There's a difference between putting up some threes for practice and playing in a game. But that's probably a good sign that he can at least do that right now.

He was putting up 3s the day after he had his surgery. Albeit in a brace then and out of it now. Still stationary though.

That's kind of crazy doing anything the day after shoulder surgery.

Gordon Hayward was putting up 3s from a chair shortly after his leg was bent perpendicular.

You are way more confident in him than I. I hope you are right.

The sheer aggression with which he plays will be a boon to the front court. Hopefully, it's infectious and rubs off on Carlton.

Cue the “what is he doing shooting threes when we can’t rebound” crowd.

Yeah, there were times where I think Whaley should've gotten those minutes instead of Mama, but either way, playing David O so many minutes was inexplicable.
DO only played 10-11 minutes it just seemed like more because he was so bad.

He's the most talented guy in the front-court as well. His lack of minutes last year was criminal negligence.

Diarra had major foul trouble last year. He averaged 9.1 fouls per 40 minutes, which, I think, is the worst foul ratio in recent UConn history. Nolan's worst season was 8.3, Olander's worst season was 5.8, Enoch's worst season was 7.5. He fouled out of 3 straight games in the early season in 17 to 22 minutes.

Plus, he had zero assists last year in 314 minutes. Sure, the UConn offense was not smooth last year, but zero assists?

He was a freshman coming off injury last season, so expectations should have been low. Hopefully, he will be more effective with Hurley.
