Yueru is more mobile and a better shooter than McCowan. The same is true of Geiselsoder who left the team for the Eurobasket tournament. If the Wings can develop those two players as an effective post combination, they won’t have to use their likely lottery pick on Betts or some other post. I love the idea of Paige & Azzi together again.

Same injury as Paige...which led to ACL? I hope Dallas docs look to be pro-active and preventative

As frustrated as we all are regarding the lack of any supporting cast for Paige in Dallas, I think we might be a little off base with with regard to filling needs via next year's draft.
Before that occurs, virtually the entire league's established players will be up for grabs as so many contracts lapse after this season.
For me, (somehow) demonstrating a competent coaching staff and front office and (again, somehow) showing that Dallas can be an attractive destination for the right free agents is the first priority - then grabbing whoever is the right fit, at that time, in the draft.
