The 2024 Central Connecticut State football season will kick-off Thursday night when the Blue Devils travel to Central Michigan. Game time on August 29th is set for 7:00 pm and be available to watch on ESPN+

For the second time in three seasons, the Blue Devils open with an FBS opponent. CCSU has played at least one FBS foe in each of the last seven seasons.

Watching the game - CCSU was in it for about a quarter but are now getting murdered.

Cant stop the pass - no pressure on the QB. Solid stopping the run. Special teams have been horrible.

These FBS games are always a huge challenge for us down 20+ scholarships and we just don't have the talent/depth at speed and skill position.

CCSU's QB Brady (from UMass) and our RB will be good in NEC play.

Wow a beat down by Central Michigan. Not exactly Michigan. Hopefully we will see better play from the other Division 1 team from CT this weekend.

I tried but It quickly became unwatchable. Switched to the NDSU v CU game.
