A low of a ten seed is better than a low of NIT

I doubt we drop to a 10 under any circumstance. Can you think of potential 7 seed that wouldn't have a collective stroke if they had to match up with us as a 10 seed? This team seeded below an 8/9 isn't happening.

That's about where I would put them.

Unfortunately, last night was a missed opportunity. With a road win against a top-10 team, we'd be sitting well for a 5, with the opportunity to move up to a 3/4 with a 10-2 finish (which I think is plausible).

As it is, I think we're likely to end up a #6 seed which, while we'll be dangerous and a potential sleeper pick, doesn't grant us a lot of press and hype (i.e. on the minds of recruits) unless we upset some people on the way to a deep run.

So we could be anywhere between 4 and 10 - and we need a droid like Lunardi to tell us that? A ten year old who follows any college bball could tell us that. Why waste a thread and time on this in early February?

I know...The nerve of this guy. Wanting to discuss UCONN's potential NCAA tourney seeding on a UCONN basketball message board.

Put up time for Ollie and the team. Looking at those games left this team should win every one besides at Louisville. If Memphis gets a revenge win that's ok. But they should pay back SMU and Cincinnati at home. And if they lose any of the others than I don't see how anyone can say Ollie did a good job this year. Another bad loss ensures a 5th place finish and likely no higher than 7th seed in the NCAA's. How he gets this team ready for some dangerous trap games like at UCF, at Temple, and at USF will tell me a lot about his coaching ability.

Time for the many many seniors and juniors on this team to LEAD and take care of business. Starting Sunday. If they sleep walk and lose to another garbage team than it doesn't represent well on anyone.

To be fair Uconn has only lost one game to a "garbage team" and that was Houston. SMU is looking like an NCAA team and so are Louisville and Cincy. Stanford is a bubble team but certainly not garbage.

Thank you for your diligent efforts at keeping this board streamlined. We don't want any idle chatter about tournament seeding creeping in, cluttering up the place. Keep up the good work.

They've lost to one garbage team all year. It's not exactly a trend.

Surprise, in every game one team loses! Absolutely hate when it's us. Come post season this will not be allowed!

Sir could you possibly edit your post to make it more streamlined? I'm thinking a 3 word limit on each post will keep the chatter down. Some of us are trying to sleep here!

I've been saying for weeks...we will be the 8 seed in the same pod as Syracuse with the 1 seed. Mark it down.

Would it be too much to ask that he also seek to eliminate idle chatter about 2015 recruiting from this board until after the season?

I'll leave it for someone else to question talk of ANY recruiting., game score predictions, other teams/conferences/topics.

I am kind of intrigued about the possibility of a 3-word haiku limit that would streamline the board while upholding the tradition of destroying worker productivity:

Pyrotechnical
Vocabularisticy
Nonimpossible

So UConn loses at USF and UL but wins the AACTand goes to the elite eight, failure? Too many potential games left to judge.

It's all speculation with 9 games and AAC tourney left anything is possible...right now we are around a 7 seed. To say our ceiling is a 4 seed and floor is a 10 seed is fine but not true. We run the table a 2 seed isn't impossible, if we lose 5 of last 9 we could be out altogether....wouldn't be shocked either way. Luckily 3 of remaining 4 games vs the top 4 teams @ home.

Bazz & Giffey have given us all that we could ask for almost 4 years, Daniels & Boat are dying to experience a nice tourney run, Kromah & Brimah have infused this team with hustle and passion. Hopefully Calhoun, Nolan, Olander, Facey, Samuel, Tolk all have some shining moments as well. I hope they can find a way to finish the season strong and make a nice run....for them and all of us.

Agree. Except for Memphis; we should be able to beat them handily at home. Its pretty much the point of the season where you worry about every game, especially with this squad we have.

I doubt it, but I'd take it in a heartbeat. I think we match up pretty well with them.
