I don't know how UConn fans hate Bilas. He has always been very positive about the UConn Basketball program and he was the originator of the name "Basketball Capital of the World".

Anecdotally, FWIW, he was very easy to speak to when I approached him at the ESPN announcer table in Maui-this was of course when they were off the air, LOL.

One thing ive learned in my 35 years being a Uconn fan is that we usually can tell during the first week of the season who the best teams will be and what the final 4 will look like. Im not sure why they bother playing the rest of November and through February.
