This right here. Our Fab 5 provides a big jolt of optimism for good reason as well as the continued development of the returning players. But UConn loses a lot from this year's team and I do mean a lot.We also won a championship from the East Regional.

That said, with who's projected to leave, I have a hard time seeing us in #2 seed range. The defending champ (or runner-up, see UNC last year) is almost always overrated, but having the buzz around the program is nice even if the results are unlikely to match.
They lose Sanogo who was arguably the best player in the nation last year. I don't give a damn that he wasn't on any of the three the All American teams, that was a mistake and he should have been at least 3rd team All American. They lose the best shooter in the country in Hawkins and the best glue guy in Jackson and not to mention significant contributors in Alleyne and Calcaterra.
