Andre Drummond is at number...wait. What?! Dude's not even on the list?

I might be blinded by a little bit of homerism, you are telling me the potential #1 2012 NBA Draft pick is NOT considered one of the top "instant impact" freshmen in the country? Him being in the paint has the potential of making everyone else on the court better.

What a crock!
Haven't heard of half of the people on that list...

Surprisingly Seth Davis has AD as the top freshman

My guess is that he just forgot about him completely. I could see how it could happen.

This guy actually writes great articles usually but his rankings have been....interesting

Shhhhh...maybe he doesn't know ANDRE DRUMMOND is at UConn (sarcasm?)

I hope this dude was blacked out while he wrote this, that would be the only reason excusable reason not to include Drummond on this list

The whole list is a bit of a head scracher. He has Teague ahead of Davis and Gilchrist from Kentucky and he has Cody Zeller ahead of guys like Mcadoo and Beal.

My guess is that he was referencing a top 100 prospect ranking list for 2011 that wasn't updated to include Drummond

Shame I have liked Winn ever since he wrote that great piece on Uconn's defense in the championship game (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/luke_winn/04/13/title.game.defense/index.html)...

But you can't leave Drummond off this list unless you leave Anthony Davis off too... and call it "guys that will have most impact because team around them is not that good" list...

He also, in his description of #2 Teague, incorrectly counted the number of final fours Calipari has been to in the past four seasons... Memphis Final 4 was vacated as I recall...

Rakeem Christmas; hellava name. Sort of like a muslim/christian complex. Not so sure Drummond will have a statistical impact in as much as his presence and what it will do for our bigs and the defensive assistance to our guards. Alex production should improve dramatically. (I guess that's a big impact).

I think Ryan could have the bigger impact since we are somewhat lean in the frontcourt.

this list was probably submitted for the web months ago... that's the business we deal with today.. lazy bs

Way to go Boneyard. Our collective outcry worked ;)
