Luke Fickell

Is anyone else besides me surpised that Luke Fickell's name from Ohio State hasn't been thrown around more in connection to our HC vacancy? I've read that FAU has been interested in him.

I don't think he is experienced enough to be honest. Which probably means he is the guy we end up hiring.

Meyer put the kybash on that. He wants Fickell to concentrate on the tasks at hand. If MSU wins though, expect him to be in play somewhere. I don't think he goes anywhere if they are selected for the BSC NC game.

If we are nervous about Ambrose being a jerk, then we definitely do not want Fickell. From living in Columbus for the last 3 years, I know enough about Luke Fickell to know he should not be an option. Not the kind of man I would want leading my sons.

After speaking with a friend who is a HUGE OSU fan, I don't want Fickell at all. All she does is complain about him and his defense. Can't really blame her though.

OSU defense has not exactly been stellar this year....that would be my guess as to why we don't hear his name mentioned more.
