IMHO the LSU end of game at Duke was truly classless!
The last 3 minutes or so with LSU having a big double digit lead from Flou'jae Johnson to Coach Mulkey behaved as classless as I've seen in recent memory!
From Mulkey waving to the LSU fans in the crowd to get loud, throwing a fist after a made layup, to Flou'jae Johnson's yelling at Kara Lawson as she was going back down court after her made basket to other LSU players reactions was excessive to say the least! To Kara's credit there was no reaction to Flou'jae!
You would never see Geno Auriemma or his team act this way in a victory (or defeat), no matter the circumstances!

Bad behavior or not (& I agree about LSU acting out after icing the game), I came away from the game being really impressed with LSU's firepower, rebounding and depth (60% fg & 45% on 3's against a supposedly good defensive team).
Classless or not, they might just have a good run during March madness.

Have they played a good team yet this year?

Tonight proved LsU is not a top 10 team. I’m not even completely sure they are better than many of the teams 11-15 either
😂 I’m no LSU or Mulkey fan either, but that three-headed guard core is going to be TOUGH for everybody. For everything that Duke is not, they are at least a good defensive team and LSU should’ve dropped 100+ on them tonight.

I need to see them against an actual top 15 team, especially one with an elite big before I crown them.. but right now I’d expect them in the Elite 8.

Good thing they play in the SEC then, where they could play a few top 15 teams twice. Oops, they only play one top team twice in the regular season. But TBH, they could face two more in the SEC Tournament.
But until they get into conference play, they play about a half dozen more cupcakes to pad their stats.

I used to feel this way but I appreciate a little extra spice and fire in these kinds of games. Women’s basketball wouldn’t have exploded to where it is today without LSU's antics under Mulkey. There was solid build up for this game from Flau'jae's fanbase and she delivered (as did both teams, putting up a 93-77 entertaining battle).

Funny thing is, the standouts likely have worse numbers in these blowout games than they will against solid SEC competition. The players who benefit from stat padding in these blowouts are the ones deep in the rotation who will get far fewer minutes against better teams.

William & Mary?

Last season in March in the CAA tournament they upset the #1 Seed NC A&T and then defeated the Camels of Campbell in the Championship game. The first t game in the NCAA tournament, they eliminated my Panthers of High Point. Mind you this all took place in a 7 day period. Then a few days ago, they stopped Wake Forests 9-0 start to the season The Tribe ran through the Triad teams like General Sherman ran through Georgia.

Yes, little ol William and Mary.... The Bane of my existence since March.

Wow, William and Mary is like the kryptonite of Big Carolina's littles. And here I thought they were just a second tier lax bro school...

This Duke/LSU game was tricky. You never know going into these types of games of what is going to happen. On paper, record wise, and stats, LSU was clearly the favorite to win this one, but you never know and the way Duke came out, it looked like they were going to pull a huge upset. LSU despite the noise about their "soft" schedule to start the season, they are still a tough team to face and it showed in the way they got back into this game against Duke. For Duke, like others have said, their offense is horrible. They got a lot of shooters just not any shot makers. They are going to be an interesting team to watch the rest of the season.

Me in 2023 would have agreed with you.
