LSU tops Alabama in OT, 32-31

Arguably the two Games of the Year...so far...and Alabama is in both...and loses both.
To Tenn. and LSU.

It was frustrating to see LSU not take a shot with 21 seconds in regulation. Too safe, but then the ballsy call for 2 to win or go home. Great finish to retire the tide for the season.

The Bayou Bengals now look like they have a good shot to be in the SEC Championship as West Champ...Losses to only Tennessee from SEC East.... and FSU...

It's great how things can turn around. When LSU handed their opener to Florida State, it was Mason Taylor who whiffed on a block on the tying extra point that was blocked. Kid was getting killed on the internet for it. Flash forward to last night and who do they go to for the win? Taylor. Very nice story, and good to see a coach stick with a player through the growing pains.

Does a quality loss count more than a win over a much lesser team?

Or is a "W'", no matter over who, worth more than a "L" ?

I've got a history of not liking Brian Kelly but I'm softening...

And the Volunteers got shut down by the real top dog - Georgia.

Couldn't have happened to a better fanbase than Alabama
I hated Alabama longer than almost anyone still alive , but their fanbase although extremely annoying is a money making machine for the school and the state.
Alabama football brings close to 1/2 billion dollars annually to the state
I’ll sign up for a fraction.

Depends on if the committee and theMouse want Alabama in the playoffs or they think they can have enough juice with others avail@ble.

And we still subsidize them.
