I was impressed that Ekmark took a couple of tongue lashings from Geno for lax play , shrugged it off , and came back out and played well. Did not let the coach make her go into a shell. Though I still think she is reluctant to shoot it at times , she is starting to let it fly more often.

She's getting better from my standpoint.

Does Lou actually hit 3 pointers in practice? She's been inaccurate this year and I wonder why Geno gives her the green light if her shooting is not good...

She's been great for years through all competition. This is a little faster for her, I think. Also think she'll come around.

I don't think pace has anything to do with it. She is missing wide open threes. However, she is a shooter just as Ekmark is and shooters need to shoot. They both averaged double figures in shot attempts in high school. Until they start shooting that much in college, don't expect their accuracy to improve much.

KLS has 14 pts, 5 rebs and 5 asts. I think she is great tonight.
