LSU Booster Payment Scandal

Just pull a Scam Newton "I Didn't know what my daddy was doin'". Amazing that Alabama, Auburn and Texas A&M can compete with LSU without having to resort to anything like this!

Dude stole money from a children's charity or hospital.....to buy football talent. THAT'S dedication!! Sure, he will burn in hell, but damn he wants to win..........

As for Odell, his talent is outpaced by his stupidity.

Yeah its a great system... another example of why allowing players to get paid directly and in the sunlight wont change the football universe as much as some think it will change thinks. The same top 15 - 25 programs are still going to get the same kids, its just now their uncle and step brother wont be running the same level of direct interference. Yes, UCF, Memphis, App St might have a problem in the future holding on to their stars....whelp.

of course, that would essentially get rid of all scholarship limits. just allocate some of the money given to the players by boosters to cover the tuition and room and board for the top recruits. Then he can just play as a walk-on and the school can offer that scholarship to another player and stay under the NCAA scholarship limit while stocking the team with five star players.

As if scholarship limits really impact the top 10 programs. You just keep pretending this world isn't already here.

So LSU losing 8 scholarships means nothing. Why don’t they just tell the NCAA that they will give up all their scholarships for Two years, Instead of going on probation. If scholarship limits have no impact on the top teams What difference would it make.

Does a question this dumb warrant a response? Not really.

I wouldn't even say 15-25 programs. There are only a handful that can kick out this much money, or are willing to. Sure, pretty much everyone is doing something, but there is definitely a super elite group that can go over the top for players.

Paying players isn't about eliminating corruption. It is about paying players for being engine of a multi-billion dollar industry.

There is no such thing as eliminating corruption in college sports.
