What are your favorite not necessarily best combos from last night? Do you see any trends? What is our best defensive team combo? Offensive? Pick any of the questions.

I liked 1st qtr - 3) 4:30 K9, Sarah, Azzi, Blanca, Allie

I would have liked to see KK, K9, Sarah, Azzi, Allie but alas it didn't happen.
I really liked that first team also. I think your second team is a great pressing team. I would substitute Blanca as the 6th man on that pressing team. Geno has said he likes it when you have KK and K9 on top of the press. They are both really strong defenders and fast.

Blanca played the four exclusively. That was huge news. Sarah at the five, Blanca at the four may end up being a lethal combo.
Good observation. Lots of front court speed there with good handles who can drive the length of the court.

I don't think anyone is going to take the time to check.

But, if you are going to do this, I'd put them in some kind of order. Like alphabetical or by position or substitution, so it's easier to see the rotation.
For example...

1) Serah, Sarah, Ash, Azzi, KK
2) Blanca, Sarah, Ash, Azzi, KK
3) Blanca, Sarah, Allie, Azzi, K9

Agreed. I loved seeing Blanca at the 4 instead of the 3 where she was played during exhibitions. With our guard rotation, the 4 definitely fits Blanca better and being able to move Sarah to the 5 against a smaller defensive bigs gives use a lot of exciting options

This is my favorite lineup, too—if but only if Blanca (at 4), Allie (at 3) and K9 (at 1) play up to what I think is their potential.

If they do, I believe this lineup vs. the current starting lineup could have better three-point shooting, more skilled and fluid paint play and scoring, more speed, more players who can create their own shot (i.e., all five of them) at more combined levels, and even better defensive quickness.

Not all by a big margin, but by a margin. And it would be an explosively exciting lineup to watch. In my iffy opinion.

If NycUcWbbFan is willing to do the spreadsheets on an ongoing basis, that would be great. There is so much information in there and it really answers so many questions.

Great stuff - thanks for providing! For my edification, going forward do you have any criteria for distinguishing between Tier 1, II and III? Are you trying to reflect the evaluations used in NET rankings?

If your Tier evaluation is independent of NET, then if, for example, Ohio State ends up being ranked by season's end, would they become a Tier I team?

I’ve made a spreadsheet so it is easily updateable after every game.

And, yes, I am going to follow the Quad system. I’ve compressed Quad III and IV to call it Tier III (for readability of results).

As of now, the NET Rankings (on which the Quads are based) are undefined. I’ve sorted the games based on a WAG. I can easily resort them later when the NET rankings are defined.

What does WAG mean?
