Low/Mid-Major Conference Tourneys

.-.
I just haven’t seen a bracket posted yet. Feel free to post!
It hasn't been posted because MAAC games are being played today.

Excited to be heading to Newark next Saturday to be part of the media coverage of NJIT's first ever America East tournament home game.

Led by former Seton Hall alum and assistant coach Grant Billmeier, NJIT is building its program the right way by taking the long road: eight of their nine rotation guy are home-grown. They've also got a nice building too, so it'll be fun to see it in person for the first time.

I've also applied to cover the NEC finals, so hopefully that'll be at CCSU this year again, but I'll settle for a CCSU/LIU matchup in Brooklyn.

I agree that this is one of the best weeks on the sports calendar. The tournaments arent as exciting as they once were with these mega conferences where everybody doesn't even get to go. These lower levels just mean more to the players students and fans, I also love these smaller gyms you can feel the energy and excitement

Not sure if it’s still called Championship Week but this is always one of my favorite segments of the sporting calendar. Figured we could have a space for the little guys here. Sorry for all the posts - won’t let me post more than 2 tweets at a time.

Is this the year that Central can finally break through and get the automatic bid?

I’m really pulling for CCSU after last year’s dud of a championship game. They really need to dance after a couple great seasons under Sellers.

CCSU isn't quite as talented this year as those last two years, but I actually think there is less pressure on them since they didn't win the regular season title and they are not the favorites to win the conference tourney either. I like their chances, but it'll likely take beating LIU, who they struggled against both times this year

Quinnipiac is cursed. They should have had at least three or four appearances in the big dance but they’ve lost in their conference tourney title game as the one seed multiple times, I think twice under Tom Moore.
