I'm sure half the folks on this board have already posted this argument but today, watching college game day, i decided it was time we got into the B1G so lets please get this done this week. This is what I propose:
I dont see UVA or UNC being the first to move out of the ACC. I think the weak link in the ACC is Florida State. They, like Maryland, voted against the $50M exit fee. They need more money to compete with Florida, etc. They are not tempted by the Big 12 - they would move to the B1G imho.
UConn is also obviously low hanging fruit that can be #16.
Florida State would be a body blow to the ACC that might loosen up UVA and UNC for the B1G as #17 and #18.
Lets get this done today. I am in for $250 to the B1G or Florida State if that helps grease the skids and we can get this done by next Wednesday.
