My favorite part of the new practice facility is the alumni locker rooms. You know the active basketball alumni for both the men's and women's teams will be encouraged to come back to Storrs and use the facility in their off-seasons. That can only help the current players with their development and also a potential boon to recruiting. Can you imagine taking a trip to the facility as a recruit and seeing the active NBA alumni names on each locker? Yes, kid Ray Allen, etc., come back and play here all the time, says Coach KO. Nice!!!

During the Fall of 2014, so around next August, but I think there have been reports that they are ahead of schedule, so it could be a bit earlier than that.
