Louisville women's basketball head coach Jeff Walz has agreed to a revised contract that includes an extension through the 2028-29 season, the university announced Friday.

It was reported this was always in the works, but was done earlier due to the hiring of the men's coach on Friday. Basically, with Jeff's success, they owed it to him to get the deal done before making a new deal with Kenny Payne.

So no Jeff "parlaying" another offer into a raise.
