Against Western Kentucky 3 minutes to go in the first (how do they say it) hay-.
26-23 WK in lead

Asia Brown for WK is a player (and an athlete).

WKU leads 69-68
14 seconds to go and Hilltoppers at free throw line

Particularly since they played the second half without their starting PG

Western Kentucky is not a bad team
Western KY has the same number of votes in the AP poll (6) as North Carolina. Not a bad team at all and maybe better than UNC right now.

WKU Lady Hilltoppers coach is Michelle Clark-Heard, who worked with Jeff Walz for six years, has coached elsewhere, then at WKU inherited 9-21 team in 2012. She turned it into a 22-11 winner in 2013, 24-9 in 2014, and 30-5 last season. Played at WKU 1987-1990. It'll be fun to watch the coach and the team this year.

Western Kentucky had lost their opener vs. Ball State by 14 points. Nice bounce back by them.

ND isn't having an easy time either
Much has been said on the Boneyard about the South Carolina OOC schedule but I don't think the ND's is any stronger. ND has played Bucknell, Toledo, and South Dakota State with Valparaiso next.

I think that was last season; we already played Ohio State and we play at UCLA tomorrow and then Arizona State in Hawaii and Duke in Columbia in 2 weeks. Of course, we play you guys in February.

Thanks for the correction.

Eh, this early stretch is relatively easy but ND has UCLA, Ohio State, UConn, Depaul, Oregon State, and Tennessee still to come. I think ND will be in the top handful of toughest schedules in the country again this year.
