May keep florida st and clemson happy - hopefully our superior academics get us the bid. It seems alot of hatred for UCONN out there - most acc fans favor louisville. Hope this Wilner guy is right - We are so screwed if we are not the choice

looking like there's fewer and fewer reasons for optimism even if we do get into the ACC. seems like the big 12, big 10, pac 12, and sec are gonna be it in a few years. and even the big 12 is questionable in my mind.

Big XII lives on a fickle existence that is bevo.
Yup. As soon as the P12 decides its time to go to 14 or most likely 16, and they come calling for UT, OU, and two more, it's game over for B12. It won't happen in next few years, but... Winter is Coming.

Man, the Louisville BS everyone's spouting is really aggravating. Not only are they now an elite football program that can "stabilize the ACC", but they're also apparently a better overall basketball school.

I mean I know UL kids aren't very well educated, but...we won our third national championship and our seventh Big East tournament title just 2 years ago.

I am not getting this someone please explain it to me. Fsu is so upset about uconn coming they are willing to leave? How does uconn differ from Maryland / Louisville in how fsu can profit. If we are so poor in football should just mean an easy victory right? Not sure I understand this.

Big12 has a 13 year Grant of Rights. Pac 12 & Big10 also have a Grant of Rights. Pac12 has no incentive to show that a GOR is vulnerable - would only have the potential to hurt themselves.

GORs are likely a crock just like 50m exit fees. The school would just settle for an undisclosed amount with the conference. None of these clauses mean squat when a scool can make money. The gor will be tested eventually and we will see if it is as iron clad as some believe. Its certainly stronger than the 50m exit fee but it will merely be a roadbump if texas ever wanted to jump

FS and Clemson are getting their excuses ready to leave the ACC, if invited to the Bevo conference or where ever.
