LSU has some momentum, but I think MSU will win.

I think for LSU to win this it’s going to be because our post players take over. That’s the advantage LSU has right now. Not convinced we have enough fire power to win this one on the road unless our guards make outside shots.

LSU also has to take care of the ball. We get a little careless at times with it. State will definitely make us pay if we do

It's winnable but will take a 40 minute effort. We have more talent, can we play like it an entire game? Right now this team does okay at times but falls into lulls they can't afford to do against more talented teams. I also hope they aren't looking ahead to SC.

Relax, as stated in numerous posts, the team still won by 10, they are still on break without a scheduled routine of classes and other friends to think about instead of solely basketball and coaches. They will do fine...oh wait, you're not talking about UConn but MSU? Sorry about that, but, hey yeah, the same analysis applies...

I know we are very young and not a top 10 team but I am hoping for a top 3 SEC finish and possibly host the first two rounds of the tournament due to our overall record and achievement. That means beating the teams we should and that includes LSU, but we don't have the same margin for error as years past.

Depends on which LSU team shows up. They can be really good or lazy at times. Mitchell is as good a rebounder as there is out there, well given her size. Aifuwa is 6-5 but she can disappear at times. We usually rely on second chance opportunities and creating turnovers for our scoring.

Those were two awful FTs from Mitchell. Didn’t even give them a chance to go in. I really like Tiara Young. I think she’s going to be really good.

I wouldn't. Mitchell is a great college player. Superb rebounding but she lacks a lot of things needed to compete in the WNBA

This is what LSU is prone to at times. Going cold for a long stretch of time.

It's easy to see why we're leading by double digits. We have 8 or 9 players all contributing something. LSU has 2 or 3.

Depth wins games, but not quite enough to win a championship.
