Rather than digging up the old thread, I'll start anew.

Lou has 116 treys on the season, with between 1 and 3 games remaining. The UConn season record is Kaleena's 121 (K also had a season with 118). The NCAA record is Syracuse's Brianna Butler's 129. I'd love to see Lou get 5 tonight in a win, and then 5 each in 2 more wins. Of course, 10 for 10 would be sweet too.

She can do it. I have no idea how to predict how many she will nail. I'm betting she attempts an average of 7-8 over the next 3 games so 21-24 attempts. If she's on, she could hit a lot. If not, well, you know...

The NCAA Division I record for 3-point FG's made in a season is held by Kelsey Mitchell with 127, the career record is Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis with 398.

MilfordHusky is right. iamcbs, you're wrong. I looked up Brianna Butler's career stats, and during her senior year she made 129 3-point field goals. Let's hope UConn wins the championship, and everything else will take care of itself.

I agree, Lou can do it... the 3 pt record and, she is only 53 points for most points by a sophomore in a season. I feel she's going to heat up tonight and should UCONN win, there will be more chances to break both records.
IF ONLY she would go milk some cows with Tierney like she did before the AAC Tournament!!!

I believe that Mitchell had something like 128 as a frosh and 127 as a sophomore. She was the record holder, but Butler passed her last year.

Kaleena's career 398 are within reach of Lou, but Kelsey Mitchell is on pace for 500 if she returns for a 4th season.
