With nothing going on in the world of sports I was thinking, was there ever a game in Lou’s UConn career that she did NOT wear knee pads? How about a game where she wore a hairstyle in any other way except “the bun”? I’m thinking she wore knee pads for every single game but not so sure about the hair. Random question, I know!

I dont recall any game that Lou didnt wear knee pads. Same for Karlie and Bonnie. I have seen her play with a pony tail, in HS and club.

Photo I took at an open practice a few years ago, ponytail and knee pads. I think it was the Sunday after Thanksgiving 2016 and they were not very sharp. There were a few hundred in attendance and Geno really let them have it in front of us.
In games it was always a bun unless she got whacked in the head, which was unfortunately a regular occurrence.
