Lou Lopez Senechal on first time in Sweet 16, her dad seeing her play

Thank you for posting this! What a sweet, unaffected young woman! I teared up a little listening to her talk about her Dad. What an outstanding addition she’s been to the team! Too bad she only gets one year at UCONN.
Yes, but just may be the best year of her college career!!!!:)

Lou was an angel sent from heaven to lead Uconn to the promised land, The NC no.12. GO LOU!!! GO HUSKIES!!!!

Can you imagine if Lou were to get an NC ring with UConn? What an amazing result that would be for her! In Fairfield’s universe she was their best player, best in the MAAC, and then she takes it to Storrs and proves she can win at any level. Let’s get this kid a ring! And Dorka needs one, too!

Welcome to the west coast Lou. Bring your rain boots and slicker. It’s very wet (raining every day) and cold (by our standards, not by east coast standards). One storm after another with very little let up.

We look forwad to having you and your teammates here as hopefully this will be just a brief stop on your way to Dallas Texas next week.

What an incredible person she is ! Soft spoken, smart and humble. Always talks about the team, the fans, and the students, not herself.

I have to believe that she would not have seen her name on the WNBA draft board if she had not come to Uconn this year. So its worked out well for her and maybe more so for the team

She and her fellow European grad student certainly represent their countries and Europe extremely well . Geno and CD clearly know the type of person (not just player) that they want to bring into the program and this 2022-23 team is filled with players with those qualities.

I hope for it, as I did fod for Azura
Lou had the chance to start from the beginning (due to Paige injury) and proved she was a reliable player, not a flashy one but a steady one, constant and not afraid to shoot, with a good % on her shooting.
She doesn't have a lot of steals or blocks but in defense she plays her role, and don't let the opponent do theirs
She is smart & smooth
