2 happy chapters, one definitely not.

“We have different matchups where you’re going to have to contribute more than other [games],” Samuelson said. “For me, I’ve just tried to step up and do what I can. I’ve really focused in on being accountable on defense and that’s something I’ve really taken pride in this season especially. I feel like I’ve upped that, been able to be someone who we can rely on and count on whenever we need to get a stop.”

“It’s definitely been a surprise,” Dangerfield said. “I always wanted to play some minutes, be on the floor, but the position I am in right now is kind of a surprise for me because that’s not what I envisioned for my first year. But there was the opportunity, we had some unfortunate injuries and I’m trying to take advantage.”

"Dangerfield, who has started all but two games of her rookie campaign for Minnesota, is now second on the team in average minutes (29.0) and points per game (14.6), while shooting 46.2 percent from the field and 36.5 percent on threes and also dishing out 3.2 assists — numbers that aren’t all that different from what she did her senior year at UConn (14.9 points per game, 46 percent shooting from the field and 41 percent on threes, and 3.9 assists per game). Dangerfield says she’s working to cut down on turnovers (2.5 per game) moving forward. "

What’s helped her (KLS), instead, is trying to read her teammates to see how they’re playing and take what she can from them.

Translation. If you by accident touch the ball, get it out of your hands to Arike (or her other no conscience shooting mate Maria) as fast as possible.:oops: :rolleyes:
