It's only 4 games, but Lou has had 2 career highs in the last 2 games and is averaging a robust 21.8 ppg.

The last UConn player to surpass that? All-World Maya Moore in 2o10-11.

I think she will Crack 40 this season. I base that on games being closer and her being on the floor for most of the close games.

That will be difficult to do since Geno has to spread the playing time around, especially for the frosh.
Of course if Geno wants to punish a particular coach, he may let it happen.

Lou leads the Huskies with two Badass Awards, plus lots of fist pumps and floor burns. Muffet may consider Turner to be the "best player in the country" (and Dawn might prefer Wilson) but I believe LouConn is The One. :)

I saw Turner play in the Green Bay, she didn’t look to good. She was guarding 6’1” player from Green Bay who had 20 points and 16 rebounds.

Katie Lou and Napheeza should be AA first and second team.

Again - bigs do have a hard time when asked to guard in space against smaller quicker players. It is one of the things that distinguished Stewart and Morgan = they could defend at the basket really well and still be pretty special out on the perimeter - different styles, Stewart using her length, Morgan her strength, but both with quick enough feet, and good recovery skills.

She missed 3 FTs--uncharacteristically--or she would have had 30+.

I was totally surprised when I saw the boxscore the other day. When does she shoot that poorly from the free throw line????
