Safe to say our fanbase thought we were going undefeated... amazing how we praise Hurley last week. And then today killing him.... weren't gonna go undefeated unfortunately. Team was rated to high. We aren't the 2nd best team In the country. This loss will light a fire under them and make them go back to working hard. Something that has been lacking the past 2 games. This team is fun to watch win or lose. Proud of them and Hurley.

When you get a technical with the game in the balance and totally mismanage the minutes like coach did you'll get criticized for it. It's amazing you think Hurley is above criticism when he makes mistakes but you're not the only one.

We are still a top-5 team, easily. Beating a top-25 team on the road is incredibly difficult.

We didn't lose any fans. Only morons thought we were going undefeated.

The criticism of Hurley is warranted. He makes 4 million a year. He's paid to take the heat. We have high expectations--when he blows it, the fans are going to call him out on it. As they should.

I think most are upset about way we lost not that lost to a ranked conference opponent on the road. Should have come down to a 50/50 1 possession game not that mess in last couple mins.

14-1 in 2022...with our only loss to a surging Top 25 Xavier team on their court....only the most optimistic fans would have predicted better than that.

We are still a Top 5 team...fans who leave aren't fans....especially if they stayed during the Ollie years.

He's not above criticism, nor is any other coach we've had or currently have.

Hurley's done a good job this season distributing the talent on his roster but he had a bad game in many respects today.

It was 9 to 28 free throws.St. Johns just got scorched by 20 at Seton Hall with a disparity of 10 to 20 FT’s. We missed 9 of last 10 shots so hard to completely blame refs.

Any fans we lost we didn't need and anyone who thought we were some unbeatable juggernaut is lost. We need to get better but these losses happen. We were losing by like 7 at Gampel to GTown in the 2nd half. Losing to Xavier on the road can't be a shock. We are really good but have not played like we did in Oregon lately. Hurley wasn't at his best tonight. Neither were the players, but man do the vampire fans come out to blame him the minute things go sideways. He is the guy that has the program at #2. He is allowed to be criticized, but is also allowed to have an off game himself and make mistakes. We were one of 3 undefeated teams left. How can people not enjoy that? Did you honestly expect everyrhing to be perfect going forward? We are gonna lose more games. It's the fans, not the team that can't seem to handle that at times.

We are one of the best teams in the country. And we are going to lose games. And good things / learning experiences can happen from losses. Oh, and the officials were redicously incompetent, especially with all the offensive fouls on us.

Criticism comes with excellence. I don't think Hurley would want to coach for a school where fans aren't passionate enough to criticize. Our fan base is knowledgeable and expects excellence. Imagine supporting a team where the fans don't care if the team wins or loses? We might as well be Syracuse.

Just because this team was 14-0 does not mean that there were no areas in need of improvement. The lack of drives and finishes at the rim has been true all year. And we will have to work on better options against a high pick and roll. Finally, Hurley can't just stick with the 'safe' lineup of starters down the stretch when some of his bench guys are better matches with the opponent. There are other issues, bit those three are at the top Of my list.

That said, this is a very good team that will be top 10 all year, and has a great chance to go deep in the tournament.
