Yep, Griner looks like she could care less. Not aggressive at all.

LA is actually running a nice offense.

I think Sandy Brondello has to take some of the blame for not pushing BG to the level she should be at.

If Phoenix doesn't pick up soon, you can stick a fork in this one.

Augustus went nuts in the Q3. I would like to see more of Sykes that what we've seen so far. TRP...I just don't see what she brings. LA has other options, can't understand how she gets as much PT as she does.

First half was good shooting by both teams, but lots of sloppy TOs. LA ran away in Q3.

edit--never mind, Sykes has played more than TRP today, didn't really seem like it to my eye

80-54 Sparks end of third

Looks like we’ll see a lot of bench in the fourth quarter.

Is Gulich injured? Anigwe has played a bit. LA not using the bench much in the front court. They must be playing quite a bit of small ball.

Sparks outscore Mercury 30-7 in the 3rd...they look great. Sykes/Augustus fitting in well and Parker looks like her old self.

Phoenix looks flat.

How many and-1's has LA had today? Mostly Nneka, but several others. Nneka is killing it today.

She must be. I did not even notice her at all during the practice videos the have shown. Did not even see her on the side lines.

As to TRP, last season they used her as the Beard defensive stopper replacement. She was never much of a n offensive player.

I wasn't buying the hype on Phoenix at all. They've been underachieving for years. Swapping Diggins-Smith for Bonner doesn't seem like it's gonna really make that much of a difference. The rest of the roster...meh. I can't see them being a contender in a loaded West. They're gonna be behind LA, Seattle and LV.

No hustle at all, just seem to be sleep walking.

Anigwe matched up w/ Smith in garbage time, those 2 have to be very well acquainted from their college careers.

Well that was a beat down. I know Griner can be dominant at times, but she sure doesn't do it consistently enough.

Some team left their sneakers in the locker room at half time.

Maybe Griner should just quit playing after that. A player a foot shorter, never mind the difference in reach, that is beyond humbling. Should never, ever happen. But kudos to Sykes.
