CP had a couple good games in a row, so she's due to take a game off. Wilson is killing her so far.

McCoughtry is really active today. Aces pulling away.
 
LA quickly cut a 12 point deficit down to 5.


I was probably a bit unfair w/ Parker. She's not scoring, but grabbing boards, active on D.

LA got within 3, but LV has pushed it back to 10. Wilson has 14 and McCoughtry has 11.


I know I've said it before. I just don't like Chelsea Gray's game. Takes way too many tough shots. Too quick to pull the trigger IMO. She has good assists numbers, but watching her play she just isn't the PG I would want on my team.
 
Wiese is on fire! 16 pts on 5-6 shooting. 9 quick points to end the half. LA closes to within 1, 43-42.
 
There have been a number of REALLY sketchy offensive foul calls in this game.
 
Gray has called her own number about 4 possessions in a row. Yeah, she's definitely not my PG. She has 12 points, but a meager 5-14 from the floor.
 
Good job Chelsea. LA was up 3, now down 5 in a heartbeat thanks to her selfish play. She jacked up another shot, and missed again. Parker finally got her hands on the ball and took a ridiculously hard off balance fade away. This is some of the dumbest basketball I've seen in quite a while.
 
Chelsea checks out and LA regains the lead. Keep her on the bench the rest of the game, please.

After a long rest, Chelsea comes in and misses a pair of 3's. 5-16 from the floor now. LA surrendered a lead again. She has been absolutely TERRIBLE this game. How is the coach not seeing this?
 
Wilson and McCoughtry both have 22. Aces by 3, just under 5 minutes left.
 
Jackie Young is having herself a game.

Gray finally hit a couple shots, but then missed again.
 
McCoughtry just passed Katie Douglas on the all time scoring list. 24 for her and 26 for Wilson.
 
86-82 final.

Parker had 20, Wiese 18, Gray 16 (7-19 FG). I think Chelsea pretty much shot LA out of this game.
 
Just somehow sounds a bit ugh. I'm not watching many games but tape most of the available Liberty and Mercury games. Not the best teams, but about the only 2 I have any interest in.

Coach speak and probably the headband is cutting off a little bit of his blood supply. ;);)
 
Wilson had a very strong game. Her mid range game is getting much better. Without Cambage, the Aces are a team I like to root for alot. And beating LA is just :D:D:D:D

They reported that Augustus just said she was not feeling quite right so she did not play. Sounds like some savy vet load management.
