She started in place of Glory Johnson who played 22 mins (8 pts) off the bench. I don't know the reason why, but regardless of the reason(s), she took full advantage of the opportunity tonight. Maybe another poster that saw the game can tell us.

Yes, that's my girl. I like a lot of players on the Wings. I'm glad to see Powers having success this season. I've been following her since she was at Michigan State.

I found it interesting that the coach really like Z’s 3 point ability. She gets to reprise her Duke role since they have Cambridge down low. Plus glory does a lot around the basket too. Dallas has turned out to be a good fit for her.

Turns out both Thornton and Stevens were starting, with Thornton moving to the SF spot, although they have similar skill sets, so they could interchange positions.
