Looks like Tennessee's back on the menu

When they scheduled the UConn/Lady Vols home and away, I wondered if there going to be a quid pro quo. Not sure if it was or if it would have happened anyway.

So no return game at the Rent? That's a shame.

2026? Wow that's far off even for football scheduling.

Biggest single-game guarantee in program history, eclipsing the $1.2 million to be received from Clemson in 2021.

This probably incorporates the buyout from the return game as well as the payday to play there.

Some of us may be lucky if we're still alive to see it. Either that, or the lucky ones may be those of us who are not alive to see it.

As for timing, it's not that unusual for some games in football scheduling to be set 10 years in advance.

I hope we still have a team in 2026 lol

Wait, Phil is Jacobs?!

The good news is that 5 years is plenty of time to restore road trip savings account after the Clemson trip.

Can we get the schedule for the 2090 season?!! It’s 7 years from now who cares, RE will be long gone

#UConn athletic director Dave Benedict says plan to add TN game to 2026 sked is "a great opportunity for our student athletes to compete against one of the best programs in the country" and an opp for fans "to go to a place that has a great game day tradition and experience."

Benedict doesn't like our game day tradition and experience?? Hard to figure. I mean, the players get to high five a dozen or so kids in a parking lot on their way inside the stadium where we will almost certainly lose by 40 points. Ha!

Perhaps the timing was deliberate, so the Trustees can now ward off the drop footballers with the enticement of a big payday in 2026. If we drop football before 2026, we lose 1.8 million ducats!

Will we have the 3-3-5 defensive alignment ready for the Vols. game?

Wait a sec. I thought they were playing Tennessee? :D
