Looking for some enteratinment

Among other things, that schadenfreude thread reminds me that not only does UConn's team have a much better grasp on the fundamentals of basketball than does Tennessee's team, but UConn's fans have a much better grasp on the fundamental rules of grammar and punctuation... :D

I read the Lady Vols board once in awhile and have seen some of Coach J posts. WOW on that thread.
Very entertaining in a train wreck, can't look away, sort of way.
@TheFarmFan, I can't argue against the idea that the BY has a better grasp of the fundamentals of basketball, grammar or punctuation. Solid observations.
But far more importantly, we have way better mods.

Do they even have mods in Vol-ville?

Bill Parcells once said, and I paraphrase, "If they want me to cook the meal, the least they should do is let me buy the groceries". Kellie Harper didn't buy these groceries. This is a team built to play a double post offense, 2-1-2 full court pressure on makes, and a 2-3 zone on misses. Kellie wants to play an option offense and man to man on defense, and that takes time to teach and the players to execute. She doesn't have the horses. This is a big team with size and not enough speed to effectively play either the 2-1-2, man to man, or an option offense. She's stuck. So the result is a lot of TO's and a putrid offense. UT fans don't understand any of this. They just see Pat and a return to the glory days. What's worse for Kellie is next year she came with virtually nothing, and the year after looks equally as bad. It'll be a long road back to prominence for UT.

Honestly, a good coach adjusts to their personnel. They can recruit players to fit their desired style, but when you don't have those horses, a good coach adjusts. So far, I don't see an improvement over Holly.
