Looking back at some interesting results

Penn State 61-56 over Oregon State
Notre Dame 70-58 over Oregon State The Irish trailed at the half 33-31. Though I dont think #11 for the Irish played in that game.

Oregon State proved to be alot better than people expected.

Lowly, Lowly Clemson over bubble team USF 68-63

Lowly VPI over Florida & Michigan State .... the same Michigan State team that tied for 1st in the Big 10

Wright State defeating NC State 99-90

Oregon State proved to be alot better than people expected.

#11 did play for ND against Oregon State and played well. Before losing consecutive games to ND, Cal and Stanford, Oregon State lost to Creighton. It is certainly a team that jelled in the 2nd half of the season.

Actually now that I think about it, that Michigan State loss to VPI was understandable. The hokies lost in the final seconds to Duke..... NC State was fortunate to beat them in OT by 1.... and they went down and beat UNC.
