OT: Longest fandom drought

I'm now in my longest championship drought for teams I root for. I admit I've been spoiled in my 43 years, but since UCONN last won in 2014, its been zeros for my teams.

The 3 main teams I am a fan of are, UCONN Men's basketball, Yankees and NY Giants.

My first championship memory was Super Bowl XXI in 1987 so I'll start there. Listed year for Giants is the year the super bowl was played, not the season year.

That’s nothing. I’m UConn, Yanks and Chargers (yes the awful freaking Chargers). My memory goes back to Yanks winning in 1978 and then the next one would have been Yanks again in 1996. Now let say you are a Sox fan about 50 years old and Patriots too. You would have had NONE until 1999. So your “drought” really ain’t too bad

Good catch, fixed it. I mistakenly put Yankees in 04 instead of UCONN. 04 was definitely not a Yankees year lol.
