Long Weekend Somewhere - Suggestions

Beaufort, Bluffton, Lady's Island and Port Royal is plenty enough activity, food and drink for a long weekend

So it seems. Even with my boring old parents. That new brewery is excellent. Fun spot.

We ended up just visiting my parents in SC. Went to good a good brewery and a nice restaurant yesterday. Watched some dolphins in the river this afternoon. Had lunch in Beaufort. This is the Sunset last night.

We just had a nice sunny day trip in CT. We went leaf peeping, driving the CT River valley loop. Crossed on the ferry near Gillette Castle, went to dinner at Scotch Plains Tavern in Essex and finished the night at Goodspeed Opera House. 42nd Street is playing, it's a hoot.
