They didn't even win them. There was no tournament. Some guy in a bakery in the 1940's decided to go back and look at results and then just decided who was (in his opinion) the best team in those years. I am not joking. It's an award from a damn bakery and they hang 2 banners for it lmfao

To be fair, the guy in the bakery didn't make the decisions. He hired some other dude to unilaterally decide who'd won titles decades earlier.

Has Kansas always included these two Helms designations (awarded in 1943 for the 1922 and 1923 seasons) in their Championship totals? If not, does anybody know when Kansas started including the Helms recognition?

UConn is a top tier school. But that is besides the point. Notice how the dim witted Kentucky fans are resorting to putting down UConn but it after #6 it never has anything to do about winning basketball games or titles
