Lori Riley has the girls' high school preview in the Courant today.
Two items: Sadie Edwards has transferred from Mercy to St. Raphael in NYC [Apache].
St. R is a national top 10 team. I did see Sadie play a few minutes last summer [I think she is a junior now] and she is a very nice player....I would think a sure-fire future D1 talent. I wonder if this transfer is to get more looks from elite schools?
Manchester High...led by senior Ashley Perez [St. John's next year]....has a transfer named Keirstyn Schumpert. Lori says she is the sister of UConn guy-side frosh DeAndre Daniels. Wonder if the family has moved to Ct.?
