Manchester’s Puffer breaks world record, Xavier’s Cozean and Avon’s Richmond win big at Connecticut Distance Festival
Adian Puffer....Manchester High....sets a world record in his age group in the 5K....about 3.1 miles.
He ran around 14.47....the olde record was set in 1975 [yikes!] and was around 15.10...Adian destroyed it.
Hope this kid is keeping an eye on his mileage.... burnout not welcome ...sounds like he has tons of potential.
BTW: uhhh... not to put too much pressure on him....the world record for the 5K is a few seconds under 13.00.
State Open in track will be coming up pretty soon...can he beat the 2 older kids from this race at that point?
