This was 5 years ago in Japan. Gary Burnham from South Windsor, who had a pretty good AAA career in the Blue Jays and Phillies organizations, also played for the Bluefish and college ball at Clemson. He was in between my two younger sons in age and they all played on the same Little League team. Gary would hit hrs that stayed on a line 10 feet off the ground. Very strong. Of course Tanaka would have been about 20 at the time of the hr.
