LJ Mazzilli improved from 9th round to early 4th, coming back for senior season with #uconnbaseball.

He was the second 2B drafted, and the first collegiate 2B drafted. While some questioned his decision to come back for his Senior year, it looks like it was the right decision.

Believe John Murphy from Seymour HS/Sacred Heart Univ. just signed w/ Yankees and is being assigned to SI Yanks.

Brooklyn plays the Connecticut Tigers at Dodd Stadium in Norwich July 13-15. Assuming LJ does sign quickly, that would be a great opportunity to see him play.

Source said 4th-round pick LJ Mazzilli has agreed to terms wit Mets and will report to Brooklyn Cyclones. First workout there Saturday.
