This is a 6 episode miniseries. Each an hour long. I have watched the first 2 eps and while I haven't read any reviews yet, I think it is great. It is a complicated spy thriller based on a Le Carre novel starring Michael Shannon and Alexander Skarsgaard. Most notably this is the TV debut from Park Chan Work, the S Korean director of the original Oldboy, and one of my favorite films in years, The Handmaiden.

I got sucked into the first 2 episodes and found it intriguing. Then I was out of town so I recorded the rest of the series. I watched about 30 or 45 minutes of episode 3 and got utterly bored with it, ended up deleting the rest of it from my DVR.

Michael Shannon is usually great but I didn't enjoy his performance here. Florence Pugh was entrancing, but there were too many other characters and too much other stuff going on that wasn't interesting to me but took up a bunch of time.
