That was the only defense that Vic could come up with. He tried everything else and couldn't stop Azzi, so it was his only option that he had left to use. As for the refs, they weren't that great in the first half. They let Texas get away with some fouls underneath the basket with their pushing and shoving of both AE and Dorka.
