Also how many games on TV for each teamIt would be interesting to see a comparison of ticket prices for the ten teams if that is available somewhere.

The link to the attendance, which I have bookmarked because it's a little convoluted to get to since it's hidden in a small link off the Misc tab when you open up the full stats report for D1 from the NCAA.com WCBB stats. They also keep an archive page elsewhere with past years' stats.
If you do that you also have to include median income in the states. Even so, I'm sure your tickets are relatively expensive. Certainly more than at USC, but we had 10,644 for the opening round today on a Friday afternoon at NCAAT prices. Tournament attendance will be a good comparison.
2712. ESPN always gives the attendance in the second of two games in a pod, in this case the Tulane-Miss St. game. The attendance is of course that total number of sold tickets, and it does not mean that it just counted the few fans who remained for the second game.
I agree; our WBB prices are great. I spend a fortune on football tickets, though, so it evens out. Our MBB ticket prices are pretty reasonable. I think my pair of season tickets are $520.Here are the South Carolina women's basketball ticket prices for this year View attachment 8785 View attachment 8785
It's a heck of a bargain.
Good point. And the cost of living in each state.
But wasn't this thread about attendance?Attendance leaders and ticket prices are interesting stats. But there is one list that matters most. NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS WON:
1. University of Connecticut.... 9
2. University of Tennessee..... 8
3. Tie- Stanford, La Tech, and SoCal.... 2
..... and all the rest
But wasn't this thread about attendance?
UConn and Rutgers - undoubtedly among others - have very high prices, and I suppose that location has a lot to do with it.
Arizona is cheap, and so is football - sort of. For football (and men's basketball, which I don't have tix for) they get you on the seat license fee (donation) but at least it is partially / mostly tax deductible.
What I pay for a season:
Football - tickets $175, donation $230 per seat (range to $2,500, but our seats are just fine).
Women's Basketball - $85
Volleyball - $60
Softball - $65 plus $50 donation
Parking - football - free with the seat license level; other sports vary depending on where you park. For weekend games, you can probably park for free, the parking decks are $2 hour, they usually charge $4 or $5 to park in a "paid" lot for softball.
So for 4 sports, with parking, I pay under $1,400 for 2 tix for the season.
A bargain, I would say.

Upper bowl tickets for the UConn conference championship game were $45.
I think yours are fairly reasonable as well, you probably have much better football tickets. I sit 3 rows from the front of the "middle" deck on the east side, behind and above the lower level which is the "Zona Zoo". Somewhere between the 20 and 30 yard line. The next section towards the center - and directly across the aisle (we have aisle seats for every sport) - are much more expensive. Those are very reasonable prices.
I buy 2 tickets for all of the below, except WBB, where I only buy 1. When I became a season ticket holder years ago, I couldn't pay anyone to go with me. Now that we draw well, I don't want to give up my great seat just so I can get a 2nd ticket. My costs for the 2015-16 school year are below.
Gamecock Club: $400
Football: $1130
Football Parking: $275
MBB: $520
WBB: $60
Total: $2385
Admittedly, I could get cheaper football and MBB tickets. but I like being close to the action.
Come on. It has nothing to do with needing to "sell" the experience. The fact is, the AAC is a god awful conference and more and more people are staying home and watching on TV when the average margin of victory is over 40 points.UCONN needs to do a better job in selling the UCONN experience to a new cast of fans....You might see a different approach starting next summer to push UCONN WCBB...

. . . . and two lower bowl tickets for the semi final game totaled $90.35 when all the fees and taxes were added. Not surprising that the games didn't sell out. The only reason we bought tickets was that the casino is nearby and we made a night of it.
No way would I buy $20 tickets at Gampel to bust my ass on concrete seats for a 9 PM blow out.
I'm pretty familiar with the Zona Zoo. My brother is a professor at the U of A and all 3 of my nieces graduated from there. I've been to basketball games there, but never a football game.I think yours are fairly reasonable as well, you probably have much better football tickets. Men's basketball I "can't afford", they would be higher with the seat license.
Also, my total donation is higher than the mandatory one, I am in their $1,000 to $2,500 level, and I have a long way to go to get out of it. I split it between the sports I like and the general athletic budget.
