I read somewhere that Don Criqui is doing the play-by-play.

The UConn site shows CBS. The Courant's AP women's TOP 25 entry shows Sat at #3 Iowa State, 4. They did a bit better with the ND entry.

Announcers tomorrow? Since it is on CBS, I have no idea. We won't be getting ABC-ESPN people. Maybe Hall Of Famer Nancy Lieberman will come out of exile for a cameo. Wouldn't that be a treat?

Interesting.

I have been listening to Murphy for years. Does a lot with the Big 10 and PAC 12, also was the NY Liberty commentator back when they actually broadcast almost every Liberty game.

She is a "homer" of sorts most times - which makes it interesting if she has no horse in the race.

To me it is unbelievable that CBS could not find someone other than Murphy to do the color. She is horrible.

Criqui has indeed become a fine announcer and the team of him and Rebecca last year was excellent.

Obviously, we all have different opinions on this, but I have watched too many Stanford games that featured her incessant Pac 10 touting (east coast bias, blah blah blah) to have anything but the worst opinion of her. Having her work this game is just ridiculous. Especially with Criqui, one of the best pbp announcers of all.
