My scenario says that when Emmert saw that UConn had not shown up on lists related to the FBI investigation, he reacted thusly:

"What do mean they're no on the list. They've got to be on the list. Screw it. We'll make our own list------of one school---UConn."

Thamel is seemingly just stirring things up with this story. The NCAA does not have an open investigation, and they didn't bother to ask Wade about it until 90 minutes before its release. I am waiting for him to provide some evidence to support his conjecture.

I look at it differently in that the NCAA has nothing to do with any of this because most of the teams are sucked up into the FBI case which NCAA investigators have been told to stay away from. We're all that's left and Emmert just loves our fertile field

If there is a God, Emmert will be charged for covering up infractions at the big programs.
