Liberty @ Stars - 8/01/17

At least in NYC, it is on MSG Plus (not MSG or NBA-TV)

That was an enjoyable game. Bria was on fire for the Liberty, but the Stars were very energetic and persistent, taking the game with a big run at the end, capped off by a Moriah floater. Fun stuff.

What a thriller! And I'm not just talking about the Red Sox's 12-10 walk-off win over the Indians last night.

Is San Antonio better than we thought, or is the Liberty worse?
I don't know why Moriah doesn't play more. I'd be tempted to play her forty minutes.

Odd that Moriah doesn't start
When she's in, the team runs better
and the announcing team, praises her to the sky.
Incomprehensible.

I found it strange that GM Ruth Riley was one of the TV announcers last night. Don't recall this ever happening before. Is she still the GM?

I asked myself the same question. The only thing I can come up with is they think Plum will put fans in the seat. I also said someone will be traded by the next season.

Jefferson missed last game with continued knee soreness.

She was a game time decision last night, so it's not that surprising they kept Plum in the starting lineup.

Ruth was a fill in last night, Ann Meyers Drysdale still does Mercury games and is working for the organization.

Anne Meyers Drysdale announces for the Phoenix games.

Edit: Sorry about the redundancy. I see that David got there first.
