Will give Stew a window to play the starter role. If ever the roster to apply “next man up”, this is the one. I’ll be curious to see if it has any impact on who starts at the 3 early. If what Moore said is true that they don’t really work on defense and rebounding until now, then Liam is missing two weeks working on something that isn’t his strength. Those first few games shouldn’t be a problem but Maui is coming up quick.

Slightly concerning is that Liam has now been banged up twice in the span of a couple months (ankle this summer). Likely means nothing, but bears watching.

I think we need a dose of "chill" - it's a soft tissue (calf) issue can last 2-4 weeks depending. Things happen, the past cannot be changed. I see this as "it happens" and nothing more - plus let's focus on Braylon Mullins announcement in 2 days and when that excitement wears off, Liam should be "better" but not fully healed.

I'm going with the theory that the calf injury is code for "Liam's defense needs SERIOUS work". These next 2 weeks he'll be doing super-secret defensive focus training and will emerge a different player. ;)

Mediocre? The guy put up double figures and grabbed 4 rebounds in his first ever college action. What do people expect from a guy in his first game?!
I know he is better than that
