Anyone think there’s even a 5% chance he’s waiting to get back to Montverde and convince Cooper Flagg to come with him and then they announce together?

I love that when he decommitted he was thought to be a Kansas lock and now just isn’t, at all...

In the spirit of fans everywhere, I’m sure the Kansas contingent will claim they never wanted him anyway.
Kansas just had a 4 star decommit, top 35 type kid. It’s pretty clear Self is taking the route of the heavy portal this day and age, adapting with that approach. We shall if he can coach that into success.

It works out rather nicely, as the first game next year will be in Texas. However, I did some research, and it's about a three-and-a-half-hour drive from his hometown of Richardson, TX, to the Moody Center. Not exactly in his backyard. Hopefully his family is ok with long drives. Makes no sense to fly.
From someone who drives from Northern Vermont to Gampel, three and a half hours is not that long a drive. Plus the speed limit on that interstate is 80 mph and nobody pays attention to the speed limit
