Norm could sky. I remember him at the Civic Center as well and prior to UConn playing for Northwest Catholic. Passed way too young at 61. RIP Norm. One of the most exciting players to take the floor at the Field House. Loved me some Storming Norman. Electric.
Please derail another thread with that discussion. That's how this works.Shouldn't we be pumping up our guy who won FOW?
Congrats, Liam! Hope many more to come!

I remember that ref! Blast from the past.
Yes, he was!
I love this picture for a few reasons. 1) man he is flying on that dunk, 2) the ref's face in this picture is priceless, and 3) this is a great reminder of how they used to pack people into the old fieldhouse.
There’s definitely a large contingent of memory laners on this board. Feels like we need a Boneyard nostalgia section where people can go into player comps of 80-90s Huskies and address yesteryear arguments around Kevin Ollie . I’d imagine that board serves oatmeal and has fake plants. Please derail another thread with that discussion. That's how this works.
First off congrats to Liam! I moved out of CT in 1986 so most of the games I ever saw were at the field house and the HCC. I think I came back and saw like three games at Gample, a few in the NIT championship run on the road and was at the games in Tampa in 1999. I’m not into player comps though.
