Lew Perkins has passed at 78

Looking at those photos, it's hard to believe he was only 58 when he took the AD job at KU. He looked 10 years old.
 
Sorry to hear it. A little understood that playing football at the highest level was critical for UConn athletic viability. Had we gotten a slightly earlier start, our narrative today might be much different.

Oh wow! I completely forgot about Hathaway! He absolutely was a train wreck. Remember when he took over we were pretty much selling out most games. His ridiculous pricing and seating policies killed that inertia.
